AuroraAliUna: Contest Winner

Yep! I offered this pic up as a contest prize about... gotta be about a year ago at this point. >_<

So, yeah, I'm not exactly proficient in getting these things done. The pencil sketch was done at FC '05. The inking and color work were both done at AC '05. BOTH would've been done at the same time, but had to leave early from FC. So, I made it a point to work on it next time I saw him.

I'm well aware that this is not my best work. But, I do like a couple of the features on this piece. The way the hair at the end of her tail falls. The overall idea for the pose (although, the pose itself could definitely use some work).

But, I'm also very conscious of the fact that her head is WAY too big for her body. Her shoulders are at WAY too odd an angle. She needs more hip than I actually gave her.

But, we've gotta learn somehow. And, I'm not ashamed of this pic. After all, I did it for someone who admires my art. And, if Aurora took it and didn't burn it before scanning it in for me, then I have to assume I did SOMETHING right on it.
